As usual for the year’s closure the Symphony Orchestra of the Volksoper Vienna is preparing the last details for one of the most important concert seasons of the year. The tradition of presenting the „Silvester Concert“ and the following New Year’s Concerts in the most remarkable Japanese halls is made possible by two decades of intense partnership with Suntory.

Music from Johann Strauss Jr, Schubert, Lehár, Suppé and others will be presented this year.

The Suntory Hall is located in Akasaka, Tokyo. It is considered one of the most famous concert halls worldwide and honors the Symphony Orchestra of the Volksoper Vienna with the invitation to perform the Silvester Concert every year.
